80 tysięcy ludzi w ciągu trzech dni trwania targów PGA zobaczyło setki gier, a wśród nich ponad 100 produkcji z Polski.
Poznań Game Arena nie ma konkurencji, jeśli chodzi o liczbę gier. Także z naszego kraju. W rekordowym roku 2017 zaprezentowało się tam 126 polskich produkcji. W kolejnym – 107. Za to w roku 2019 w halach Międzynarodowych Targów Poznańskich gracze zapoznali się z 114 rodzimymi grami.
Wśród wielkich hitów jak Cyberpunk 2077 w polskiej wersji językowej, Wiedźmin 3: Dziki Gon na Switcha, konsolowego Frostpunka czy horroru Blair Witch, były też dziesiątki produkcji mniejszych i niezależnych studiów. Odbyły się też pierwsze publiczne pokazy takich gier jak m.in. Arboria studia Dreamplant, Ars Fabulae od Punk Notion na stoisku ARP Games czy House Flipper VR ekipy Empyrean. Wielką popularnością cieszyły się potencjalne hity, takie jak m.in. Ghostrunner, Bee Simulator, Crossroads Inn, czy Shing!. Mamy nadzieję, że w 2020 roku będzie jeszcze lepiej, bo organizatorzy PGA już zapowiedzieli, że targi odbędą się w dniach 9-11 października.
W trakcie Poznań Game Arena zostały też wręczone nagrody PGA Awards oraz prestiżowe CEEGA (Central & Eastern European Game Awards), a my jako PolskiGamedev.pl mieliśmy swoje stoisko z małą sceną, gdzie w trakcie licznych paneli dyskutowaliśmy z ciekawymi gośćmi na branżowe tematy.
